I just had this problem and could not find a guide on google then doped it out that the old bsa's were causing the problem.
Can anyone offer any help? Is there some random file that persists through uninstall / reinstall causing this? If you are updating mods and it keeps crashing when you click upload to then go in and remove your bsa's from the last time and try again. Find the files in this folder that you received errors with and right click them and select 'Copy' Paste these files into the folder with your Creation Kits. make it an executable from within, Creation kit should always be installed in your game directory.
If possible - install and run Skyrim & TESCK from a solid.
Ensure any Virus / Trojan software you are using recognizes the EXE as a valid process.
I'm kinda at my wits' end trying to get the CK working properly from its appropriate location. If running Windows 10, right click the executable (EXE), select 'Properties' select the 'Compatibility' settings of the app to 'Windows 8' and 'Run as Administrator'. Now I'll copy over all the files from the working CK directory to my actual Skyrim directory and run CK from there as usual. Fails to load, needs a couple Steam-related. Ok, I'll install it to a different directory.
